Exit poll (part II)

The results are now reversed.
This is a confirmation that Circus will reign for the next five years here.
I mind asking what was in Geoana's head to proclaim its victory before having the official results.
And I am very amused that all the comedy shows presented sketches with Geoana as a winner (maybe they had alternative versions and presented the wrong one).
There are only two possible explanations for this:
1. Basescu and his party forged the elections.
2. We were victims of a massive media intoxication last night.

  1. I go for the second point ... for the last 6 weeks, Antena 3, Realitatea, ... they were all against Basescu.
It was way too obvious to not notice this.
So it was normal that yesterday they gave some results that would favor Geoana.
Iliescu&company thought that they rule again Romania ... that was just a dream. Luckily for us!

  2. Still... Geoana won inside Romania with 15000 votes.
The difference favourable to Basescu came from diaspora.

BTW: At what hour did the voting booth closed on Bruxelles? was it 2100 GMT+2? Or the GMT+3? Because I could imagine a scenario in that the foreign votes could be forged due to the clock difference between contries. 1h for western Europe, 2-3h for UK and Ireland.... more for US and less for China,Australia and NZ.
It is not really unimaginable that after 2100 the loyalists from foreign consulates called home and asked "Boss, how many do you need?"... with a time difference of 2-3 hours big changes could appear.

    Or am I wrong?

Again - voting for neither of them was a solution. But sincerely I do not understand how Basescu did it.
He ios better than Jobs on eality distortion. Geoana does not have this skill and it is quasi-impossible to help him be mor charismatic.

  3. This idea "It is not really unimaginable that after 2100 the loyalists from foreign consulates called home and asked "Boss, how many do you need?"... with a time difference of 2-3 hours big changes could appear." is something I really don't understand.
It's like saying that everybody in Romania voted correctly and only the ones outside obeyed to the boss ... that's what I'm hearing at the news on pseudo-channels like Antena 3.
The voting started in Bruxelles at 7.00 GMT+1 (so 8:00 Bucharest time) and ended at 21:00 GMT+1 (22:00 Bucharest time).
I went to vote after lunch around 14:00. Yet, I've heard the people from the voting commission saying that already there were more people compared to two weeks ago.
I've had some good friends that went to vote at 7:15 in the morning only to avoid the queues, like last time.
This coalition of people like Nastase, Iliescu, Vantu, Patriciu, Voiculescu just made more convinced that they should never get the power in Romania.
And despite of all those "tampiti" that say we should not have the right to vote because we don't live in Romania ... I cannot express my feelings here.
    Anyway ...
I voted here, I saw mostly educated people waiting to vote ... it was difficult to see the ones that "frauded" ... this is just another idea build by PSD&Antena just because they do not know how to lose ... their problem.

  4. I agree with you on the fact that the show on Antena 3 was lousy.
Besides that I could argue on many things. I have no oppinion whatsoever on Nastase and Iliescu. They are no worse than Udrea and Videanu. However, the only thing it bothers me is that the referendum was approved on false premises and that Basescu used it to gain voting capital.
I do not think or affirm that PSD did not fraud at all. They have frauded as much as they could. But they were surpassed by the new generation.
